Tokyo Special Import Car Show 2006

We spotted this event in a magazine for foreigners in Tokyo. It wasn't too clear just what it was about until we got there - then we could see it was all bling, very big wheels, more bling, and ridiculous sound systems.

Chevrolet Corvette with wheels too large to actually turn.	New Mustang	Old Mercedes wagon - turned out to be a show car for huge brake calipers.
	Just the thing for the farm.	Technical experts.
Tastefully finished to match madam's handbag.	The interior to match.	Chevrolet wagon.
	Turns out that size does matter - badges to show off your wheel's diameter.	The token Frenchman - must have been the hottest person in Tokyo in that suit.

Looking for the keys	One of many Hummers, all sporting mild modifications like this.	There were a few cars on show with this type of door modification.

BMW 3-series wagon - the colour of the brake calipers matches the interior.	Mercedes interior, retrimmed to the owner's liking.
In car entertainment for those who prefer traditional technology.	Presumably for places where there are no hills to roll down.	BMW 2002 Turbo, actually quite nicely retrimmed.
